When I started photography in November 1979, I didn't think that 27 years later I would be photographing my 1000th wedding.
On the 12th August 2007 Joanna Park and Alessandro Morganello were married at Cumwhitton Church. I had the priviledge of photographing this lovely couple. The day went smoothly although the weather was typically British. It is nice to photograph nice people and they seemed to enjoy every minute and smiled constantly whether I asked them or not.
It is still a genuine honour to photograph people's special days and I have not lost any enthusiasm over the years.
I don't know whether I will clock up another 1000, but you never know.
I still remember my first wedding very clearly. I was incredibly nervous-I still felt nervous for my 1000th!
